OUR HOUSE

We've been asked to show pictures of the inside of our house and the projects that we've completed. We've almost finished our interior projects...just a little more tiling and a little more trim work and we can p

ut our feet up and relax!

We recently finished the flooring in the livingroom and kitchen.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

We've painted and added new furniture (for the first time in our lives!).

We've set up our library at the top of the stairs in the landing area.

Kitchen

We added the cabinets on the right and we store our school books & supplies. The bottom drawers are file cabinets -which I've (Kim) always wanted and I love it! 


We've just finished tiling the main bathroom floor! Kirk re-stained the cabinets and Kim painted the ceiling and walls.Removing the toilet and then putting it back in place is always scary! But, praise the Lord, there are no leaks! We completed the trim tonight!

Kody's bedroom has a medival theme with swords & sheilds on his walls. He picked out his paint color and the carpet was in good condition and didn't need to be replaced.

This is our new addition that now connects the main part of the house to the garage where the laundry room is located. There is a slider door to go out to the deck where the hot tub is. Kim tiled this whole room-you can't really see the tile in this picture-but, it was alot of work! We have two more tiling projects to complete (upstairs bathroom and laundry room) and then we will be done!

Since the piano and drums are in this room it is now called the music room! If Kaylee takes on more piano students, then this could be her little piano studio. Two sliding pocket doors close it off from the rest of the house.

This is Kirk and Kim's bedroom. It's upstairs. Kim built these bookshelves and now has a cozy, little reading area in their bedroom.

Kaylee's bedroom is painted her current favorite colors! Her flooring is linoleum so that she can allow bunnies, birds, guinea pigs, dogs, or any other small animal to run around in her bedroom and it would be easily cleaned
